DAF23:

OPENING NIGHT

The DAF23 Opening night was an amazing experience full of artist and collectors! As I entered I was stunned by the number of people waiting to get in, the queue flooded the main entrance and even trailed outside of the doors.
Once inside all I could hear were lively voices, the booths were filled with beautiful artworks accompanied by their artists and the walkways filled with attendees.
I managed to make multiple sales in just the 2 hours opening night had commenced, it was amazing to talk with artists both familiar and unfamiliar, as well as those browsing and there to support the event.
It was an amazing introduction to my first time holding a table at an Art fair and was an even better way to kick off an amazing weekend of the Dubbo Art Fair 2023.

Day One was such a beautiful pre-cursor of what the next day at the DAF would bring me.
So many sweet people coming by the check out all of the local artist’s works including myself.
They were beyond sweet and it was amazing to get to have a chat to customers/on-lookers as they went by.

The DAF was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The community present was beyond amazing and so so supportive and i cant wait until I have another opportunity like this one…
I ended up selling majority of my works/products which had me over the moon seeing as this is my first time legitimately selling art. the fact that so many people wanted to support my work and my lifestyle was so heart-warming.
The fact that locals liked my art enough to display it in their homes or gift it to their friends/family was extremely moving and I am beyond grateful.
