This piece was painted with Gouache on watercolour paper, It was an entry dedicated to my younger sister on the prompt of a role model/somebody who inspires you. I attempted to take a somewhat 'unconventional' approach with both the style of my portrait as well as the subject. Due to this entry being my first art Competition in around 5 years I was unmeasurably happy and grateful for both the recognition and the $150 prize sponsored by ANZ.

A Watercolour piece (my first in 5 years). The prompt was to create a piece of art based on a Threatened Australian Species; I chose Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo. This piece was done on A3 watercolour paper. It was such an amazing experience to see so much artwork from so many different artists as well as being excellent exposure as a young upcoming artist and I am more than grateful to walk away with the generous $500 prize to further invest into my artistic venture.

This piece was created under the prompt of ‘true colours’ and is called ‘colours of life’. This is an A4 Gouache piece on Watercolour Paper. I Won First Place for this piece in the Blaney Art prize held at the odd sock gallery and was beyond gracious to receive both the wining title but also the generous $250 money prize.

This piece is the winner of the second ever awarded Evans Arts Council’s ‘Founders Award’ as well as the first place winner of the junior 17 years category and additionally Peoples Choice.

This Painting represents resilience and ‘rising from the depth’s; This can also be seen as a metaphor for this pieces process, as had never gained the recognition my other pieces were subject to. This piece bloomed this time around as it was awarded not one but two awards and additionally sold.

Although This piece did not win the Best in Competition Award unlike my other piece it did receive recognition by the judge for being equally as Compelling as my Winning Carnaby Black Cockatoo painting. This is the largest piece I have completed as it is a trio of Original Paintings With A custom constructed frame. Whales have always been my favourite animal so seeing such a beautiful species being threatened with less than 3000 estimated to be in the Wild I was easily moved, hence why so much effort and Love was put into this almost 2 metre tall art piece.

My oldest award pinning piece I still have in my possession, An abstract and colourful three piece Painting that depicts A city at night with vibrant lights.

I was around 10 Years old when I created this piece, among many others.
